Syntism Studios is the 16th game developer to partner with Squid Networks.

The Game

Etasia is a game created by Syntism Studios. The game draws inspiration from titles such as Terraria and Starbound and is an adventure fantasy sandbox game.

Etasia is based in an alternate reality where magic exists and there is a complex multiverse with multiple dimensions which you can access.

The storyline is that ‘Mana’ has spread across the world, however ‘Dark Mana’ has also been spreading whereas before it was trapped underground. Since then, it has slowly found its way onto the world's surface.

Your journey begins with you starting off in the cave where ‘Mana’ was first discovered with a pickaxe. You are then given the opportunity to roam the underground or go to the surface. The dimensions breaking apart has caused lots of issues throughout each dimension and it is your job to fix them! Are you up to the challenge?

The Developer

Syntism currently consists of 8 team members who are listed on the website below. The team work exceptionally well together despite the fact they are based around all corners of the world! They began working together around 5 months ago as a small 4 member team, when the original concept for Etasia was very different to what it is now.

The team is currently preparing for a 30 day Kickstarter period where they are looking to raise around $2,000 in funding. Their website is and they are still looking to expand their team!

A message from the developer:

“We decided to join Reef because we saw lots of potential in the concept and we are excited to see what happens with it. The fact that users can get digital currency by playing Etasia is a very exciting idea and the revenue share is much better than most other alternatives. It’s also a well designed website and our CEO, James, endeavours to help improve the layout in future!”
